Our Programs
Learning Center
Monday through Thursday in the Learning Center we have “Power Hour”. From 3:15pm to 4:00pm, all of our staff, volunteers, and teen tutors help our 1st to 6th graders with homework. If members do not have homework, they read books during that time. Our Learning Center is open 2pm to 5pm for reading and homework daily. On Fridays members enjoy legos, karaoke, and dance dance revolution.
Arts & Crafts
We provide youth of all ages, gender and ability, the resources and education in the various areas of the cultural arts, including but not limited to; dance, cheer, photography, arts and crafts. Our Arts & Crafts Department is a place to let a child’s imagination and creative be expressed in art.
Athletic Department
In the Club gymnasium we provide programs and activities that promote fitness, sportsmanship, health and making positive choices. We also provide seasonal sports leagues for all ages, 6 to 18 year. Each day there is drop in daily physical fun in sports and fitness. Members enjoy our soccer, basketball, and volleyball clinics.
Gamesroom
This area of our Club provides a fun and safe environment for all youth by offering large group games, tournaments, individual activities, and special events. All activities provide social development and enhance member’s ability to grow in citizenship and build character and self-esteem.
Kids Cafe Second Harvest Food Bank
We promote healthy eating habits to our members by providing a free daily nutritional snacks while members are attending the Club. This snack is provided by the Second Harvest Food Bank. Not only do the children receive a daily free snack but also are educated toward a positive and healthy life in the future. Members participate in the preparing of healthy snacks twice a month.
Outreach Transportation Program
This program provides transportation for your child from their school to the Club daily. The schools we are currently picking up from are; Hansen, Cerritos,Twila Reid, Bryant, Lawrence, and Wakeham Elementary Schools. We also pick up junior high students who attend Alamitos or Orangeview. The cost of this program is as follows:/p>
- 1 Child $90.00 per Month
- 2 Children $130.00 per Month
- 3 Children $160.00 per Month
$30 for each additional member

Outside Playground
A safe, supervised and secure outside play area for members to play outdoors. There is even outdoor board games and other fun on the spot activities for children.
SMART Moves
We provide an intervention and prevention program on teaching our youth how to be smart when it comes to negative influences in their lives. There are several different age appropriate programs that we use, our most popular is SMART Kids for ages 6 to 9 year old. This age group is split, boys and girls. The girls group is called Ladybugs and the boys are called Lizards. The SMART Kids Program is lots of fun and at the end of the 17 weeks of learning sessions the children are treated to a special field trip and party.
Special Events
Throughout the year the Club has many holiday special events for members to participate in. Check the Club Program for dates and times for these events. This is just a sampling of our Special Events; November we serve all members a Thanksgiving Feast cooked by the staff and in December all members receive a Christmas or Holiday gift provided by Toys for Tots and Stand Up For Kids.
Summer Program & Non-Student Days
To provide a safe, fun, and affordable environment for community youth that features at variety of structured activities, educational and attractive excursions and valuable programs that develop citizenship and leadership qualities. There is a fee to the Early Bird Program so please call the Club at 714-891-0740 for more information.
Youth Choir
If you like to sing and perform this could be just for you. The Youth Choir is in their 10th year at performing throughout the City of Stanton and Club events. Try Outs and Sign Up is scheduled in September. One of our Board Members, Diane Coddington, volunteers weekly teaching this young group of singers. Practice is every Monday from 4:45PM to 6:00PM, plus there are other special days of practice. Club provides the group with uniforms to be worn. If you like to have fun and travel please see Linda.
Youth of the Year and Youth of the Month
This is a year round program that enables staff members to support, coach and encourage young people while recognizing them and developing all members the qualities of sound character, leadership, willingness to serve and enabling youth to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Each year the Club holds their Annual Youth of the Year Program where more than 60 members receive trophies for their outstanding participation in departments and throughout the Club. Out of these youths we pick one (1) to be recognized as our Youth of the Yearin the Boys & Girls Clubs Orange County event.
