Youth & Teen Programs - FALL 2022:
The Boys & Girls Club of Stanton provide a wide variety of programs utilizing our Gamesroom, Gym, Learning Center, Art Room, Club Kitchen and Teen Center. Below are some of the programs we offer our youth for our Afterschool Program:
- Power Hour: Dedicated time for homework help for our youth (click HERE for more information)
- SMART Girls: Designed for empowering girls through interactive activities and instruction (click HERE for more information)
- Gardening Club: Youth learn basic gardening skills and knowledge, having hands-on experiences in growing their own plants
- Jr. NBA (part of our All-Star Sports Program): Pass, dribble, SHOOT! Learn the fundamentals of basketball in an positive environment and be part of a team of fellow youth.
- Bro Code (aka Passport To Manhood): Targeted sessions and effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior, specifically highlighting character and "manhood" (click HERE for more information)
- Tasteology: Teens learn basic culinary and kitchen skills and knowledge, baking and cooking appetizers, entrees and desserts from various monthly themes.
